Biggest Badass Competition

Who do you think kicks the most royal ass?!

1) A preliminary contest will be held were anyone can sumbit photos of the guy or girl they want to see in this kickass contest.

2) The submission must have a name, age, and anime they are from.

3) The picture must fit the following parameters:
a) The picture must fit to the rules of the Anime Screen Caps thread.
b) No blowing stuff up or otherwise cool poses until that part of the contest.
c) The picture must be of them and only them. Multiple character pics are not allowed.

4) The prelims will be open for new contestants for the first 20 contestants or 2 weeks, whichever comes first

5) Each contestant will have to present the following during the contest. The person that submitted the guy or girl has to submitt everything else for the contestant. These are the Category's:

a) Blowing stuff up or just a cool pose showing off their badassness.
b) What makes them so badass i.e. what do/did they do to be so damn cool.
c)(optional) Animated GIF section. If I need to explain this, you need to be shot. Preferably by the winner of this competition.

6)only one submission is allowed per person.

7)Two people cannot submit the same character.

The advancing prelim characters will be chosen by popular vote, with 10 characters advancing

Maten Scripture - One of the "five founding scriptures of heaven & earth," which he uses to destroy evil or corrupted beings. How many characters do you know who regularly call down divine wrath with outright murder in mind - and get away with it? So far, only "God" has been able to step in and finish a job Sanzo can't do.

The way I see it, being badass is a lot more than just being able to take down your enemies. You've got to have a badass attitude to go with it, otherwise you're a pansy. Arrogance and self-confidence count for a lot when it comes to taking down you enemies (or your friends, in Sanzo's case). To be badass, you've got to BELIEVE you're badass. I challenge anyone to come up with a nominee who thrashes Sanzo in this department.
