Mai HiME episode 14

Okay...some crazy stuff just went down in this episode (the Army just raided the school), and it looks like the show is finally settling down and getting serious. So it going to be like this for the rest of the way, or is it going to pull a Trigun and get really serious for a few eps, and then piddle around for the rest of the series, with only the occasional return to seriousness?

I have to admit, this is the first episode where I've thought, "Wow, BADASS!" (when Mikoto crashes through the window to rescue Mai, or when Midori and the soldier go to the top of the stairs, turn the corner, and Midori ruins his shit offscreen).
