AniDB wrote:Fortune Arterial's story revolves around the male protagonist Hasekura Kouhei, who transfers into a prestigious public school in the style of an English six-year school encompassing junior-high and high school students. The school is on an island named Tamatsu Island off-shore from mainland Japan, and the only way to get there is by boat. Soon after transferring, he discovers that one of the student in the class next door to his, Sendou Erika, is in fact a type of vampire.

I will be first to comment then |:>

Another anime that is based on a Visual Novel but IMO it's hell more interesting than Yosuga no Sora. It has some cliche stuff but they are well done and don't bother.
Right now Visual Novel is being translated into english so I had my doubts if I want to follow the anime but meh, I know I will not tame my curiosity.

well; this doesn't happen very often to me: I actually kinda like this one ^_^
.. Your transference to a new school sends you to a place you grew-up seven
years ago .. umm, yeahhh T_T .. well, gotta start a story somewhere .. right?
.. You've entered a School Yard which resembles a very-fine House and they
call it home + they know your name???? ( or is it that you remember theirs?? )

To get you better acquainted with the one girl who hates you, they
place you in the wrong shower/room on purpose.

so far this series is moving very slowly for me. I'll get the next two episodes shortly.
So far, I'm liking the content and I'm getting curious about what this is leading-up-to.

Yeah, we already saw all this stuff somewhere else but the story gets more unique as it goes.

At least the main hero does not seem to be a wuss.

I had not checked out this series as no one was commenting on it before and being based on a VN i was a little skeptical, however i just watched the first 3 eps and found it was actually a decent series. ton of cliche stuff happening but presented in a way that made it entertaining. definitely better than Yosuga no Sora so far.

.. and that is why I plugged-it: sometimes, a lame season
became that way because too many people "missed a good series."

I'm unsure, if I should either wait for the VN to be translated or just watch the show. It's rather interesting, but as mentioned on the previous post, it has some cliche here and there which makes it less interesting.

I find that if you plan to see both the VN and show it's always better to see the show first. It usually leaves out quite a bit so when you play the VN you'll be able to enjoy all the things that were missing. If you play the VN first though, people are often disappointed with the show as it leaves out a lot of little things that they enjoyed in the VN, and doesnt really show you anything you havn't already seen. pretty much the same thing when watching a series and then reading a manga it's based on.

that's just me though

That's true, I'll follow the show meanwhile then :) Thanks for the advice.

well .. the premise of the show kinda toys with you:
.. "Is She Erasing/Purging His Thoughts and Selecting What She Wants Him To Remember?!?"
( as in what she did to him in Ep 3)
