Yeah, I think the surgeon made hime swear that if he implants the jagan eye (which was an extremely painful process) then if he finds his mother and sister, he cannot reveal to them who he really is. That was the pact that was created between Hiei and the surgeon...who Hiei finds out that he worked for Mukuro.

All right, so if Mukuro was fascinated with Hiei why does she make him go through hell before she finally gives him back what was rightfully his?

when mukuro summened hiei to demon world to fight on her side, in three kings , she has hundreds of demons trying to kill him along the way. this was to make him stronger. maybe she thought hiei would come to her if she had something he wanted.

That's one way to reel him in. Couldn't she just have asked? Make him stronger? For what? Killing demons more efficiently?

there are three kings struggling for power in demon world. king raizen, yomi, and muraku. each choose one demon to fight on thier side. yusuke by raizen, kurama by yomi and hiei by muraku. they were going to have a war for controll of demon world,because raizen was dying because he refused to eat humans. but yusuke suggested they have a demon world tounament to decide who is the one true ruler of demon world. funny thing is hiei goes up against muraku in the tournament.

Did Mukuro expect this type of reaction from Hiei or did she think that he'd do what she told him to...by bribe?

not too sure about that. she gave him his mothers tear and helped him get better after he almost died fighting the surgen. this was before the tounament. it seems they become friends after their match. muraku ripped hieis dragon of the darkness flame in half! and beats him. but hieis attack was really meant to break the shackels on muraku wrists, because she grew up as a slave so she always wore the shackles. they broke free after the match was over.

Ripped it in half? You mean when it was coming at her, Mukuro sort of destroyed the dragon of the darkness flame? Did Hiei intentionally want to break the shackles on her wrists or was a fluke?
