Apparently funimation (good bless their souls) have picked up the right to the movie to dub it. I'm sure CN will have it on their because of sheer demand.

I haven't heard anything about it, but it certainly is possible! (I mean..if they can show one of the IY movies in theaters, even if they were limited to area, they can at least show this movie!)

From what i know, its supposed to be released the same time as the last volume.

It would be nice though if they did the OVA's too, maybe something like bonus features to the movie since its pretty short.

Adult Swim probably won't show the movie until the DVD is released over here (like they did with the Inuyasha movies) which I heard is coming out in November.

It is very likely that there is going to be a theatrical release of FMA because Funimation is planning on putting all the anime movies they have licenses to in theaters at some point in time. I think the first one that they mentioned was one of the DBZ movies.

If the anime followed the manga more, it'd be unquestionably my favorite anime ever :(

I'm not because the anime gets really crappy. What good is difference when one of them sucks?

I actually heard the movie is coming out in October along with the last DVD of the series. On the same day in fact. I would link you to the article that said this, but anime news network is being wonky right now and I can't get to it. I also heard that if the movie does get a theatrical release it probably won't be until 2007.

Good news about the movie, according to Animenation, the movie will be released on September 26, there will be a limited edition with a bunch of stuff and the regular bunchless one.
