Did I now? I got up to ep.10

10 was the best one so far I thought. On a whole number of fronts. I certainly didn't expect the kind of action we got

The animation was certainly awesome.
And of course, Yuki without glasses =

Likewise, Mikuru in this episode =

I lol'd at some of the suggestions we got in regard to her and Kyon. I hope they're true!

And if ep.9 is indeed the final one (of the season I hope!) chronologically as I hear, then it's exactly what I expected it to be like. Yuki in the clubroom, oh gawd. It's this show at its most shameless, in a different (less directly funny) but related way to ep.1

Can you guess which other animes are referenced/parodied in episode 11? Or episode 12?

After ep 11 and ep 12, Yuki-ism should be at it's peak. Then episodes 13 and 14 should bring Haruhi-ism back in focus.

Then, you can go back and rewatch the series again and notice a whole bunch of stuff that you may have missed or didn't realized the significance of the first time around. You may wish to go through them in chronological order.

Lovely

Although for most of the series I was convinced it should've been a full 26-episode series, ep. 14 certainly delivered all I'd hope for from it. I'll give any possible season 2 the benefit of the doubt, though, and I guess given the popularity it's pretty likely to happen.

I probably didn't pick up half the references in ep. 12, but I was laughing regardless. Yuki and, you know, MAD MICRO SKILLZ. And the unforgettable [beep] cannon.

I'm still questioning just how unaware of everything Haruhi might be. Something tells me that's a theme that might be played around with if there's a season 2.

5 star series, deserved the awards it got, and although I haven't seen many - I'd say it definitely makes a solid "anime of the year".

I think Haruhi-ism should at least have its own wiki page or a dictionary entry. Something along the lines of:

Haruhi-ism - The belief that God is an attractive Japanese highschool girl and doesn't know it. Worship includes keeping God entertained, sitting quietly and letting God dress you up in funny costumes, arguing with God over all her crazy plans before giving in and helping her anyway, and above all, not telling God she's God.

Hey makes about as much sense as alot of the other religions floating around out there. I'm looking at you, Jedi

On another note, I would definitely put Haruhiism on the census.... Could be fun, no?
