Yeah. Real small boys are total spazzes with the attention spans of mosquitos on crack and are just about as annoying...Rinku is no exception.
In other news...my laptop's memory has been COMPLETELY WIPED.
My sister is allowed nowhere near this thing. EVER. AGAIN.
I have to start the chapter all over again! And some fics were completely lost.
Like I said: EVER. AGAIN.

There has been a tendency for women to play the voices of small boys. (I guess it's easier to get them to read the lines correctly.)
What? No dude...young boys' voices haven't deepened; USUALLY kids aren't in the business, grown men can't play young boys, so that leaves women. Women can usually do it.
There are kids in the business though, such as Aaron Dismuke, but usually women are cast as children because they sound like them more.

Indeed, for more examples you have Bart Simpson and Ash from Pokemon. However Aaron Dismuke is my hero for squashing that whole stereotype. The kid's got skills.
It's hard to find voices for a lot of the actors on Hakusho online, especially the final saga (just because of the amount of side characters) but you can find them on the DVD credits.

Yeah. I've looked on tv.com and I'll find actors listed has having done voices for YYH, but they're credited with 'additional voices'.
EH??? What other voices? Give us character names! Please!

Well that totally sucks
Kids can't play the voices of kids...what is the world coming to??? But then again...it's not unheard of that women play the voices of kids...it takes away the actual kiddiness of the character...
was that even a word???^_^;

I think Disney's Peter Pan was the first time a boy actually played the role of Peter. (Before that it was always a youngish woman, and often showed.
)
As for whether any of those are actually words... you probably won't find them in the dictionary. But the point got across. Ah the wonders of English. It's completely possible to make up words and still have them understood. Something Shakespeare did a lot. Practically invented modern English. ^_^

Kurama = John Burgmeier, yeah I just found out that he's also the voice of Sigure on Fruits Basket! (WARNING: Kurama fangirl of infinate knowlege
) And the lady who does Rinku (kid w/ yo-yos of death) is in FMA and Fruits Basket. I've noticed that almost everybody in FB was at one time in Yu Yu Hakusho.
