S2U. And according to the official Nanoha site, it's apparently an Expert Device, not an Intelligent Device.

So is it even stronger than an intelligent device?

No, Intelligent Devices are the top of the food chain (being almost sentient AIs) but are very rare, with Expert Devices being the next step down, but are more common.

Though this info is filtered through my rather meager Japanese reading skills, so I might be wrong. I'm waiting on the rest of the Device Cards in the A's DVDs to confirm what each Device is. Raging Heart and Bardiche are Mid-Childa system Intelligent Devices according to the cards in Vol. 1, Laevatine and Graf Eisen are Belka system Armed Devices according to the cards in Vol. 2. (And yes, those are the Roman-character spellings given on the cards)

And what about Klarer Wind? It's a Velka-type too, is it?

And remember that the cartidge-load system was placed in Raging Heart and Bardiche, so what kind of device are they now?? Mid-Childa system Armed Intelligent devices??

I'll assume that this info won't be handed out before the upgrade happens in the series.

So we might have to wait for the next DVD-volume to see how they are called later on.

Vol. 3 arrived in my mailbox about five minutes ago, and the device cards this time are "Raising Heart Excelion" and "Bardiche Assault," so I went back and checked Vol. 1, and Nanoha's device is indeed "Raising Heart," not "Raging Heart."

Both new devices are listed as being Mid-Childa system "Intelligent Device+Cartridge system" devices.

Klarer Wind hasn't gotten a card yet, possibly in Vol. 4 (maybe with S2U or the Book?).

The images on the cards are identical to the ones used in the A's OP, so by those images, we've got the Book, Klarer Wind, S2U, Durandal, and Reinforce for six more cards (if they continue to have two cards in each disk). Personal guess is that we'll see Durandal and Reinforce in Vol. 6, two of the other five in Vol. 4, and the last one and one other in Vol. 5.
