I know what you mean. Knowing that an anime/manga is short with only a few volumes is a lot better than finding out that they have over 10 volumes or 100 episodes. *sigh*

The things we do for anime....yare yare.......^^;

Where I live, I have Waldenbooks in my mall and it has all 18! I watched the entire anime then got depressed so I thought that I might as well read all the books since they'll have more stuff. Since I made that decision pretty recent only have 2 volumes at the moment.

To me Kiyo's true form looks like a combination of:
  • a dragon
    a rabbit
    a old man in a teenager's pants
    a cat in its own twisted way
    and a giant brown rat!

I haven't seen the anime, but I just recently began reading the manga. My local library has up to book 14, and I own the first three. I'm currently on vol. 4 and I love it so much I'll probably end up buying the rest as well as the anime DVDs whenever I can get the money. ^_^
[Broke right now... no, actually in debt to mother about $15, hehe.... Eh.]

Oh, and can I make a statement about Tohru Honda?
...That girl inspires me.

I don't really like the animation as much as the manga, i don't know the artwork and stuff don't look that good and they look really stiff, like there's no flow in their movements......well, that's just what i think^^;

I;'m still stuck on the 10th book.....need to find a place to get the books = =

Yes, I can relate to being broke. Although...I'm always broke...stupid transportation and food and Tuition fees.

I find Tohru Honda inspiring too. However, in the anime, I've always found that she's a little too perfect so it made it feel like it was all a fake. But, when I read the manga and the past and fears emerged from characters, I've found that...she's definitely inspiring. LOL...sound weird?

At first it does seem like she's perfect, naive, too kind hearted and way too innocent, but there's a lot more depth in her than just her wanting to be nice to everyone and helping out. It's like she's there for a reason. Inspiring?? Yes, definetly have to agree with you Anime_Flower, she Tohru sees things the way others can't or won't, and she sort of brings reality back into their lives in a more comfortable way than Akito wanted to make reality seem.
