Sorry for the double post

The clock in Kirito's bedroom said 2022/11/06
the clip near the ending said December 2022.

Makes no sense to me how its not real time

Spoiler :
The words at the end said in the game's first month 2000 died, and floor 1 has yet to be cleared.

Basically they're skipping ahead a month, that means we'll be seeing all the survivors who managed to get through the first month, they've been in the world a bit and have graduated past killing boars and wolves. This actually makes me happy as we dont have to spend 3 eps watching people cry and stumble around clueless, we can get straight into the action. Also notice that Kitaro's name was crossed out.

For all we know and care, Kitaro is a Mister Nobody. The main character is Kirito, who is well and alive.

Spoiler :
I believe it is somebody who we've never saw nor we'll ever see. The focus of that one ending scene was just to show that Kirito is still alive, one month has passed, and nobody of the 8k survivors have made it past the first level. The position of the camera that puts Kirito's name at the top (leaving space for another name under it) instead of the center in that shot is likely due to two things:
1) The sign that fades in after a bit is right at the center, in order to actually catch the viewer's eye and make sure it gets read as it is important ─ it would have covered Kirito's name had that been in the center as well, and as it would have been mostly white on white, it wouldn't have been the easiest to read;
2) Seeing a name getting striked out from so close, with a clearer sound effect, right before the aforementioned message appears, makes it all that more obvious what the striked names mean, so it's a further confirmation that Kirito is still alive but has not made it to level 2.
Keep in mind that SAO is mostly targeted at a somewhat young audience, which loves to be spoonfed every little piece of info that needs to be known or understood; episode 1 was largely an infodump, which reflects this belief of mine. I doubt we'll ever find things left unexaplained or to be guessed/understood by the viewer on his own; if there will be apparently illogical things happening, they'll likely either be explained later on, or it's actual plot holes.

Decided to check this one out. Episode 1 was promising! (Though the ending with what that other guy said to him was kind of left-field? I didn't really understand the purpose of what he said...)
But otherwise, super nice animation and a pretty cool plot.

While I agree with this I think that there will not be anything that we wouldn't understand. I mean it's a MMORPG game.. unless there's a bug or some kind of hard quest.

This is just a guess, but I think that since their characters look exactly like them whether their 2 meters tall or weight 120 kilograms (sorry, I'm not good at those feet and pound measurements). Therefore I think their fighting abilities will reflect on that and their stamina. I do think that they will be level dependent, but I think that their original body basis will be important as well.

Spoiler :
Or if they level up they can reach closer to their desired avatars, in many cases guys would start becoming girls. Still they guys had to keep those girl avatar costumes after turning back into their mirrored shape

The concept of an anime about the MMORPG's is the reason I'll keep an eye in this one

Regarding that timeframe of one month...i am obligated to pose another thesis:
Spoiler :
Every person logged in at different times.

Over the course of one month, people have logged on and died from either physical effects or dying like a total n00b from a boar. The announcement from said douchebag Game Master seemed to be intentionally delayed until the maximum 10000 players logged in and THEN he made his appearance. It would be more dramatic for this to be held off until more people finally got in to the game to tell them all at once rather than explain this to the first people and they then spoil it for everyone else who logged in AFTER.

It also makes sense that 1 floor has yet to be cleared simply because there hasn't been enough time for one person to get through a floor in one day (or however much time they have to spend in a day) also because of the need to eat and take a dump. REMEMBER: It took Kirito a few months to get up to floor 8. HE WAS NEW LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE, but had lots of knowledge about MMORPGs.
There may have not even been time for people to get a message around the world that the game is a trap. Even so...many people may have not believed them until they died for real.

/thesis :book:
Almost as hard as fighting a Holy Paladin.
