There's going to be an OAD with the manga in 2011 and I heard there's going to be a dvd only 13th ep... depending on how much the dvds/bds will sell, a second series might be likely, however the manga has a good way to go, so it prolly won't happen for a while.

Pretty good run, couple of things out of order but still overall followed the manga (few bonuses). I greatly approve madhouse :up: . There will definitely be another season but it may be a while. Though it could be sooner than expected if they turn another 15-20 chapters into a season. Not only that but the author has picked it up again stably from what I've heard.

They did skip a bit of the teacher's friend's side story though and that was kinda disappointing. I think this will be on the extra dvd episode though, or atleast there is a good chance of it since I doubt they will add on to the ending and save that for next season.

I don't normally rate anime or anything but 8/10 :up:.

Now to save for bluray set :uhoh:

It's Madhouse, so it'll likely be a good one (read: 720p stuff as per norm). Hopefully they won't go the Q-TEC route for upscaling, but they didn't to it with Tatami Galaxy, so I doubt they would for HOTD.

Fucking perfect ending for 1st season :up: :up: :up:
The police woman at the end hints a lot for the next season,especially for those who have read the manga.

If the writer has restarted the manga normally,then I hope we'll soon get a new season as the existing chapters that are out can make up for almost 9-10 episodes.
Now let's start editing... :D

The finale was amazing :up:,the past couple episodes have been kinda about the political(boring) side of the zombie attack. glad they ended like they did, i cant believe ive waited an entire school day + Football practice to watch this, i really hope there is another series ,

The ep 13/OAD (it's actually the same thing, my bad, there's no dvd extra) won't be out until 2011, along with a manga volume. Patience, my young padawan.
