I'm still waiting for the massive KyoAni Special where all of their characters have a huge party.ZephyrStar wrote:It was the members of K-on D:

I really hope that they release this in theaters across the nation (like what they did with the Eureka Seven movie). California is a 7 hour plane ride away from me, so.....I can't even pretend to be tempted about going to the American premiere. But if it was at least in the same state as me, I'd go no matter how far.

Bleh, if only. I'd seriously consider flying to SF to see this, but I will have just gotten back from Chicago at that point and my employer would probably pitch a fit if I wanted to take off again.

Bandai Entertainment Acquires The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya; E-Store Launches
It seems like I won't have to go to SF to see this in the theaters. Mid-June seems so far away...

The only place where it is having a theater release is in Hawaii. And by the time Bandai releases it on DVD, fansubs would definitely be available.Willen wrote:Bandai Entertainment Acquires The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya; E-Store Launches

And seeing it in the theaters is a different experience than watching fansubs on my TV or computer at home.
Oh god, I hope to see cosplayers lining up to watching the movie. It's like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and such, but Otaku-er!

If you take any interesting pictures, you should post them on the org.
