I finally got the novel and am in love with it!! I cant wait till they show everything they didnt show in the first season.

Has Bandai announced anything about releasing the light novels over here? Also, how long are these? Are they like the length of a tankoban?

No. In fact the manga hasn't even been released over here. You going to have to search the web for illegal translations or order them from japan and translate it yourself. I just got volume 1 from my friend in Tokyo (I have 5 friends in Japan) and man is it hard to read. I can read the hiragana and katakana fine but there are alot of confusing words. I get lost so fast.
