Well, all 6 OVA episodes are released on fansubs. And I have to say, it was quite an interesting ride. For some odd reason, I kept thinking this series as a "Saikano-lite" since it does involve the guy's girlfriend being involved in the military. Not to mention she's the
only one left to fight an enemy in which the military is covering up from the public. Unlike Saikano, those battles against the enemy hasn't really hit close to the home (so don't expect apocalyptic battles). Most of the series is just building up the relationship between Asaba and Iriya (almost in a typical high school romance) with a couple residuels like with Iriya's nosebleeds. In the end though,
Asaba has confessed his love for Iriya which led her to be able to fight the enemy again (despite the fact that the TV said the war is over).
Pretty sad it was over. They could have made a few more OVA episodes in order to substancially build up Asaba's and Iriya's relationship better since it felt kinda of rushed.
