For example, Steel Angel Kurumi (and the Encore OAVs) is followed not by "the second season", but The Steel Angel Kurumi 2, Magic Knight Rayearth is followed by Magic Knight Rayearth 2, Cardcaptor Sakura is followed by Cardcaptor Sakura: Master of the Clow, and so forth.
