Ok, let me get this straight.

After Bocca killed Solo (who's also the present Monster King), and Solo killed Sayako, did Boca become a new Monster King and Sayoko become the new Melody of Oblivion?

This ending might need some heavy amount of thinking here.

Well, as far as I can tell, Bocca refused that position.

In some unexplained manner, Sayoko doesn't seem to have actually died, while Solo did.

So the result is that the monsters are without a king, and Bocca is carrying on the fight as a Melos Warrior.

At least, that's my take on it.

I've realized something!

If Sayoko didn't die, then her big boobs must have cusion the arrow like a pin cusion!

Of course that's just a dumb speculation.
