probably my biggest surprise of this season, I absolutely love this show. The 1st ep is ok, but the 2nd and 3rd episodes had me cracking up so much. This series flips back and forth between serious drama and comedy really quickly that it completely throws me off, and some of the characters are so ridiculous (a loli grandma and an android) but it still has its serious moments

This is a harem series that has been done right

Ah, the "less famous" VR world film. That did occur to me but the fact that he could even see the lines of code and was the "chosen one" who can shape the virtual world around him screamed matrix at me.

This series really is turning out to be full of surprises, it feels practically schizophrenic, going from extreme humor/fanservice one minute to very serious themes (thoughts of suicide, losing memories, the end of all life etc) the next. And somehow it manages to pull it off without making me roll my eyes like most comedy series do when they try and be serious.

And it's over, I can't believe they actually wrapped it up. granted the light novels the whole thing is based upon are still coming out so I don't know how faithful the anime is to the original story but I definitely enjoyed this series a lot, the managed to have a rediculous amount of humor, romance, drama, tragedy and even action all in one series without making it completely stupid.

I need to learn Japanese so I can read the source materials of all these anime I enjoy
