This is the official Yu-gi-oh discussion thread. It encompasses any of the TV series and any of the movies. Please specify if you are referring to the japanese or english run of the TV series to reduce confusion, however.

I still would like to buy the uncut DVDs where the dub is better and it has the original audio.

I used to like it a lot, but watching the dub awhile ago again I noticed all they do is talk is too much to make the card battles less enjoyable. So, eh, it's just ok to me now.

I'd settle for a sub-only release in the form of boxsets.

I love this series,but I really hate english dub..

They made Kaiba's voice sound kinda evil,but that's ok - the problem is his talking : BLUUUUUUEEEEE eyes white DRAAAAGOOOOOON!!!

He's like draging each 4th word

Anyway,I like the original series,about Yami. But "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" is what I hate

It's like they were making fun of first series when they were creating "GX"

You, me, and Little Kuriboh. I hate the English dub as well. They screwed the DOMA back stories like no tomorrow.

True. Thank God it was just filler. At least people died for real in the final season. We never really get to see where Zorc's second head comes from.

I think the show was alright, but the whole "save the world with a game of cards" premise was kinda stupid to me. Why waste time trying to beat an evil being/monster/sorcerer/punk/whatever at a game of cards that you know he is going to cheat at, when you can just walk over to him, and beat the living Shat'ner out of him and save yourself a headache and some time. Personally, I would've just put Peagasus (from the first season of the show) in a choke hold until he took the spell off of the other people instead of trying to play a rigged game of cards against him. And I would've let Kaiba fall off that castle wall in that one battle. Would've served him right for trying to blackmail the other player.
