This is one rather....um interesting OVA series. It basically takes in a post-apocalyptic world where all men are extinct (oh geez, thanks a lot....
), and women basically ruled what's left of the world. Perfect excuse for shoujo-ai content, don't you think?
Despite the hopelessness on the fate of the human race, something called ICE gets discovered which contains a possibility of new male births which may save them. Of course there's still war going among the women between those who want to save the human race and those who are insistent to accepting the face that they're doomed. And there's a relationship growing between Hitomi and Yuki.
The designs like the backgrounds, weapons, and costumes looks really spiffy; it reminded me something out of Gonzo's Trinity Blood. The characters designs look rather sketchy and a bit unrefined though, and I'm not totally sold on the voice acting (supposedly most of the female seiyuu's are part of a singing group known as AKB48).
