It easily kicked my ass at this years Anime Expo and definately deserves everyone's vote if it this catagory is approved.
Excellence in Simplicity
A lot of credit is given these days to videos that are filled with stunning visuals, effects and techniques. However, a lot of videos out there are incredible without the need for these embelishments and additions... some videos are superb just because they are so simple and yet so perfect. This award goes to the video which uses simple techniques and ideas to create a video that just *works*. It could be dramatic, romantic, sentimental, action, comedy - anything. It doesn't need precision timing or effects galore because it's an excellent idea executed brilliantly.
