  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

The Earth's Guardian

AMV on nature and wildlife. I tried to create a coherent story while making a spectacular atmosphere.

The idea here was primarily to show the beauty of the scenes in order to bring the viewer into the atmosphere’s AMV.

Enjoy

some sloppyness at times it seems, but concept was exceptionally good.

Some transition choices are bad I think (particularly some zooms too aggressive with this music).

Except for this point, it's a very good video but you already know that I can't really appreciate it being a fan of "Voodoo Child" by SoH ;).

Dude those links are indirect not direct. :p
Anyways, getting now, will edit later.

EDIT: Well, that was different, and very well thought out. A pretty much perfect work all round, from concept to editing to technical sides, nothing to complain about. 5/5 :)

THOSE. ARE. NOT. DIRECT. LINKS! Image

Will check it out.

Edit: That was fucking awesome. Some of the transitions between the live action and anime were sketchy, but... Man, that was just beautiful.

I was gonna say  ORIGINAL VIDEO!! Then I saw the song :( gd it. oh well maybe it'll pull through... but it was a greusom train wreck.
------------
I have one question, where were all the RL animal pictures from, were they from the anime or some national geographic (is that too old?? lol) documentary or something?
Here's my straightforward opinion. Obviously you saw how amvs sometimes mimic the music video and mimic that here. Others may not see that your just copying videos like Jihaku or Skittles so I can't say it's all that original. HOWEVER and especially if the idea is not pulled from the anime itself than you put some obvious work into this idea and if you know those amvs than your a student of the game :D I highly commend that. copying a good thing isn't bad. After all Koopiskeva copied Jihaku (numerous times) yet he gets praised for it EVERY GD TIME <.< but anyway...
So I like the amv make more like it k? just improve next time xD.
