A friend of mine suggested this song, and with my all-new PC I created... the simplest AMV I could have crafted. But it's something.

This is really beautiful and has a quiet grace to it and is very different from any Wings of Hommeamise AMV I've ever seen, despite the fact that I'm sure these clips are the bread and butter of pretty much every one of those ever made. There is one big difference but I'll leave it to the viewers here to put their finger on.
Absolutely terrific stuff, the sort of video that I watched once and knew I'd be able to tuck away for a rainy day. And then sure enough, it really does reap rewards when you come back to it with fresh eyes in a place where you're not distracted and can just lean back and relax while watching it.
And yeah, you can relax while watching it. It is not a "chill" video but it is not the epic adventure employing us to REACH FOR THE SKY that so many Wings of Hommeamise AMVs are (to readers and fellow editors: if that describes your WoH AMV, that's fine, those are good videos too, I'm just saying that this is just very different). This isn't "sad," it's just... I don't know, it's a complicated tone that defies expectations for this material. It's really good, worth watching more than once and worth thinking about.
