This is one of the last songs I'd have expected to soundtrack such a violent action scene. And yet... I complain about it when people make violent videos with XXXTentacion or $uicideboy$, so why would I complain when someone does the complete opposite of that?

Is the clip at 1:25 sped up or is that how it looks in the episode? (As long as I'm at this part, there's an orphan frame from the previous scene that briefly flashes before that crossfade transition has completed itself. This won't bother many viewers but it's definitely the kind of thing that I notice and can't ignore. This happens a few times in this video, like at 1:52 and 2:15).

"Spin" transitions like the one at 1:33 don't work as well in slower AMVs like this as they do in fast-paced edits of a different style. But again, as with everything in this post...

Why is he bashing his head against the rock at 1:43? How is that going to save the kid from drowning? Obviously, I need to watch this series.

There's a lot of overlays in this video of reflected lights and something like burning embers rising from a fire. I don't think this added much to the video and kind of got to be a little repetitive as it established itself as a recurring motif.

I actually like the sweet and simple sincerity of a lot of this. I can tell why you included some of the action scenes or shots where very dramatic things were happening... but these sudden tonal shifts never quite jelled with the music for me. That said, I like the basic concept here and when you stuck to it most closely, I felt like the video worked best.
