Not sure if this was your intent (probably not?), but this is the first Cowboy Bebop AMV I've ever seen where it looks like Spike is a villain. I don't know, he looks like a really suspicious guy and suddenly he's attacking these police officers!
I'm generally not into effects-heavy edits like this so I can't really estimate this video at all. But I did watch it twice and I think you've got a pretty good handle on what you're trying to make here.

Interesting choices of song, anime, and effects combo. I feel you did a pretty good job syncing to the beat. I did feel some more variety in effects would have been nice. Some where a bit too simplistic. You also focused on just one scene. Would have preferred to see a variety. Still and interesting watch.
