- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Nah it is not YT fault. It is either your source material quality or poor rendering settings. Either way you should admit, that it is your fault for bad quality and not look for excuses.

Can you give the exact resolution, codec, and container your video was when you uploaded it to YouTube? The Animaker wrote:The video is 1080hd widescreen and when uploaded to youtube this is what they switch it to...Alt_z3 wrote:Nah it is not YT fault. Re: Final Fantasy [The Fall of King Regis]
There's no rule that you can't include original audio, even dialogue, in an AMV. And I do appreciate how you tried to make it work by turning down the music during those scenes. But when it's over the top of lyrics, it just kind of feels distracting. I've seen other editors work these kind of elements in during quieter parts of a song or at least during instrumental breaks and it tends to fit in somewhat better.
Just feels like the overall concept here was built around these scenes with dialogue, rather than, first and foremost, telling a story or conveying an idea through the editing itself. I don't mean to be overly critical, I think you have a good grasp of action editing. I just think this particular video didn't showcase it to its potential because so much emphasis was placed on including certain scenes with dialogue that ultimately distracted from any visual flow that you were trying to establish.
Just my opinion.
