Re: Survive AMV
There are some pretty moments in this and I love how the slow pacing of the editing matches the music. The last minute of this was, man, really really good! Maybe I've just never seen these scenes in an AMV before but you used them very well.
I don't know if the masking from 1:56 to 2:02 really adds anything. I thought you were doing a good enough job with simple editing alone to not really need anything like this.
I didn't find that these two sources really complimented each other especially well, the 5 cm/Second scenes just kind of came and went for me and it felt like the AMV didn't really get going until you started editing with the clips from A Silent Voice. But that's just my opinion! Maybe it's really tough to make a 4-minute video with a single movie. Not saying the first minute is poorly edited, it totally isn't! Just hard to feel like there's not a big seam in the middle of this video. Definitely an effective sentimental/drama AMV, regardless.

Re: Survive AMV
Agreed with Seasons entirely. I think these are two different videos. Both could be effective alone, but there's very little purpose to using 5CM as it is now. I didn't mind the masking, but it also doesn't follow the flow of the rest of this video. This is A Silent Voice video, and it deserves to be the only source. If not for the 5CM bit, this would be a contender for my permanent collection.
