I think this is really good for a first AMV. And using mixed sources as well? Nice! 
Some things you should definitely be looking out for is unnecessary lip flaps, where the character's mouth moves from talking, but it is not synchronized with any part of the audio. Another thing to work on would be determining the flow of the AMV. When I first started editing, someone gave me that advice and a link to Vivifx's tutorial for AMV flow and it really helped me with my later editing projects.
