Kill La Bill {Kireblue}
This AMV was actually inspired by the Kill La Bill shirt seen here: http://www.jbox.com/product/SHIRT-KLAB1 I love making trailers with catchy names, so the moment I saw that shirt, I knew that I had to make the combination a reality. This is my 4th AMV trailer, and I think that it has the best character assignments out of all my previous ones. I was especially sold on the idea once I realized that Nui actually makes the perfect Elle due to their similar personalities and the fact that they both only have one eye. I wish that I could have included an additional character assignment (Isshin Matoi - Pai Mei), but since he doesn't actually have any lines in this trailer, I decided to cut him out. For anyone that doesn't realize why those 2 character assignments are so perfect, you can click this link to watch a Kill La Bill parody made by Ultimatetransfan (Video has Kill La Kill and Kill Bill spoilers in it)

Thank you again for the suggestion about the "Uma thurman as Ryuko matoi" scene. That actually ended up being my favorite title cardPic4 wrote:Oh wow, it has turned out pretty awesome. Love the synch and the original credit scenes from Kill Bill. Thanks for sharing. Definitely a keeper.

Re: Kill La Bill {Kireblue}
Watched this earlier in the week, but just got back from Expo so I am gonna comment on it now.
I liked this trailer, it is really slick and well executed. Not surprising, your trailers are always pretty slick and well done. The audio/scene matching is really strong. Biggest Props on the name. Sometimes when people do trailers they really have to struggle to find a good, punny, fitting name. But Kill la Bill is really snappy and awesome.
Well done Erik!

Re: Kill La Bill {Kireblue}
This is pretty darn rad. They played the beta in the AMV Room at AX, and the audience ate it up. I then wandered over to the dealers room and saw the mashup "Kill La Bill" shirt for sale. It was a weird synchronicity...
