@Target $18.88 TV Box Sets (non-anime) (EXPIRED)

Post by TaranT » Mon Oct 03, 2005 10:29 pm

Season box sets of TV shows, mostly older titles. These are the ones that I saw at our local Target:
  • E.R.
    Lois and Clark
    Gilmore Girls
    The Waltons
    Nip N Tuck
    Wonder Woman
    Gilligan's Island
    Dukes of Hazzard
    Friends
    Everybody Loves Raymond
Perhaps a few others that I can't remember. $18.88 each (vs normal prices of $30 to $50). Good through Saturday (Oct 8).

Stock will differ from store to store, so YMMV. This store had several of each, but was sold out of ER and NnT. I saw one report that Target was issuing rain checks for these.

I don't know whether or not this thread will be struck down as off topic, but still, seeing you say that to the keeper of http://www.amv-contest-lists.org is simply stunning.

well seeing as how some local targets don't always have those offers, it seems kinda pointless to post it. Now if it was target.com's prices, that would make sense.

Hush, you! :o

Anywho, I checked the rules for this particular forum where phade wrote "stuff we buy". We're not limited to anime here. And who's to say there can't be a crossover AMV with Wonder Woman and Naruto?

I'll leave it up to the mods to keep this open or not. The deal is over in a few days no matter what.

And a spot check says these prices are not available at target.com although you might be able to push them to sell at the lower price. This is a national sale (see here), not just a local opportunity.

I hope last night's response didn't come across as too harsh. Nynex4 does have a good point (which is why I checked the rules beforehand). It might be worth a change to the rules page, some words that limit what is allowed.

There are no limits currently on the deals that people post other than that they not be illegal. (IE bootlegs)

Obviously the more related to the hobby the better though as more people would find the information useful.
