Netflix Gets Walmart DVD rentals

Walmart is giving Netflix their DVD rental operation. Also Blockbuster is offering 2 monthes free to any Walmart or Netflix customers willing to defect.

I'm glad Wally world took another blow, they are taking over too much and too fast. As far as Blockbuster goes, I have it right now and am enjoying it, but Netfilx is much more organized so I might switch over.

I never really understood why Walmart was in the biz to begin with. Best I can figure is it served as a promotional engine for buying DVDs from Walmart.com.

It looks like Greencine is countering by offering 1 out for $9.95 a month.
