i downloaded a direct amv but i cant watch it is it becuse of my computer or is there something wrong with it

It may be due to you not possess the type of codec it was encoded with. does it say it uses DivX or Xvid or something?

People soemtimes use different programs to encode their vides, to help lower the filesize. If you don't have the codec that they used though, you can't watch it.
