o also to get back on the main subject of this. if u have any suggestions on what to show at the first meeting to atract more ppl please post some suggestions

Bandai has their Anime Addicts program for functioning Anime Clubs that have a web site and regular meetings. If you join, they have a habit of occasionally sending the club free prerelease DVDs about a month earlier than their planned street release. Look into it.
