Course registration

Post by angelx03 » Mon Oct 20, 2003 6:00 pm

I have to start thinking what courses I'm taking for winter quarter. I have to OFFICIALLY register at Halloween starting at 6 AM, no later nor earlier. So I have to register FAST before the time slots gets taken. Of course, that's one of my few worries.

The thing I'm PISSED is the fact all civil enginerring tech. students in RIT HAS to take Computer Applications I. This means that I going to be taught how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other applications which I KNOW how to use since high school. And no I CAN'T be exempted in that course. It's going to be SOOOO boring. :x

But at least it'll be easy  We're on the semester system here at MTU. Switched from quarters a couple years ago from what I hear, so I've got awhile yet before I have to register. Anyway, good luck; hope your schedule works out the way you want it to.

i had to take one of those "This is a "mouse", and this is a "keyboard"" classes. And they don't let you test out of 'em or anything. Boring stuff, but it's easy. And you get a few good laughs at the questions some people ask.

You could try getting more info at http://www.collegeboard.com? That's where I started my college searching. :P

Ok, MY THREAD, MY RIGHT to revive it.

Anyway, registration starts tommorrow at 6 AM sharp which means phone and internet connections will be HORRIBLY congested with RIT students signing up for the best time slots. Wish me luck, guys and girls, and hopefully I get the good time slots! :P

Good luck! Hope you don't get stuck with any 8:00 classes. Those are the worst.

Especially during winter quarter. :x
