My point wasn't about fucking 13yr olds. Nor was it on the nature of if meaningful relationships are possible with "children" or teenagers.
It was all about my objective observation that Jodie Sweetin looked hot.
Maybe I didn't state this properly in the first place. I noticed she was hot when I was 12/13, that would place her @ being 13/14 or 15 on the show at the time. I was in no way thinking she was hot @ the age of 8 or 9. Also the picture I posted saying she looked hot was of her atleast in her teenage years.
About your sister, I don't know what to say, but it sounds like you don't have a very high oppinion of your sisters judgement. There is more to say on that subject but then it would get more complicated.
The judgement of what is "ripe" as you so nicely put it is up for discussion, is a objective one. Only about 100yrs ago, teens were getting married having kids and being happy. That was a different society back then. That was expected. That is not expected now, that is looked down apon. This is not me trying to say "it's ok to have two teens fuck and then have a baby", but I am saying it was possible at one time for that to be sucessful. Of course a reason why this may have been possible was because back then the requirements and standards were not as high as they are now. Society wasn't as "mature" as it is now.
But it should be noted that greater age does not always equal greater wisdom.
Take a 15yr old who can keep their room clean, fixes their own meals when need be and goes to school on time. Compare to a 20yr old, college guy who drinks and parties all the time, is failing in college and has his mom clean his room and do his laundry on weekends.
Which is more mature?
I would go for the 15yr old being a more mature and responsible person.
Of course one would also have to define what makes someone a adult. Independance? Collected 'wisdom'? Experience? A Job? Your age?
If you're still being nurtured by a parent are you still a child? I don't know
. I don't think so. There are quite a few people who live with their parents, past 18, but think of themselves as adults. I don't think they're actually wrong with that assumption in some cases.

That's a great way of putting your job to everyone else. I remember klinky coming home and repeatedly bitching and moaning about his job. Then how he got too lazy to go look for a job to get unemployment because as klinky said "I don't want to work".klinky wrote:First off I was never fired from my original job @ Stream. I was fired from Norm Thompson a week before I was going to be layed off. I got sick with the flu and they fired me for being gone for too long. The Oregon state employment department ruled in my favor that the firing was not warranted and awarded me my unemployment insurance. The rest is history
This thread go de-railed because of *your* personal attacks Fyrty. Not mine. You said I was a sicko, I was mearly stating my point. No one said anything about fucking a child. I said I thought Jodie Sweetin was hot. No where did I say I wanted to fuck 6yr olds.
Then it further got derailed when you called 13yr olds 'children'. When they are not children. I stated my point on saying that they were not children and I included my job info as proof that 'children' can get decent paying jobs.
Alot of times when arguements don't go your way or people get on your case about insults or teasing you use the common cop-out "it's the internet it doesn't matter". I was never really clear on what you meant that the internet has alot of pathetic people looking for sympathy on it. I am not sure where that ended up. But one thing is that you don't take what you say seriously, but other people do and I certainly did. You didn't add a wink or aor something to suggest that your remarks were sarcastic. Also your views seem to point that you weren't joking.
So this is how we got here
The point is, just because you were 15 and rolling in some big dough doesn't necessarily mean you made the great choice.
I had said before that it wasn't a personal attack. I was telling why and how I disagreed with what you were talking about. The whole you're a sicko was a damn joke, you know it so stop playing games. I've been on this site for what, a year? I've acted how I've always been, it's not my fault that you of all people who should know by now when I'm joking, don't.
YOU'RE the one who brought up the whole internet thing. That was a conversation me and you had a while ago that has not a god damn thing to do with what we're talking about now. You dragging in how I don't take things seriously and bringing up a past conversation about the internet is your way of making it personal.
I don't think calling a 13 yr a child is derailing? How the hell is that possible? I still consider myself a kid to an extent, and it's obvious that a 13 yr old isn't a 3 yr old.
MIKE, is a whole nother story. I find it kind of funny how I have people telling me that all you guys do is talk about me, and If I display some kind of fucken joke about you guys it's all gone down hill. I wouldn't put it past those people to lie, but now I think otherwise.
Also, there are PLENTY of people in college who are oppositely described like in your post. And you know, who's to say that that 15 yr old won't grow up to be in college and won't do the same thing?
Then, you went off to say "If you're still being nurtured by a parent are you still a child? I don't know." That college student isn't exactly being nurtured by his parents, but so fucken what if he/she goes back home on the weekends to get laundry done? Or staying with their parents period.
