Ya, he was already troubled and that super-supernatural drug thing he started taking eally started to blur the difference between real life and games.

So remember kids, don't do drugs.

Hmm, if you really want to meet people who like anime have you looked around to see if there are any local anime clubs or anything?

Hey did you guys hear about this, 2 people who played the MMORPG Runescape online got hooked up.

Yet more wedding bells! So Runescape rings DO have special properties.
"I started playing 8 months ago...The last thing I was looking for was another relationship, especially via an internet game. But find one I did, or it found me..."

Lady Pooh met Topcat0711 whilst playing Runescape, and being more charming than the seven hundred odd Topcats that had preceeded him, they soon became trading partners. An act of chivalry took the relationship to a whole new level.

"One day he'd won a stake duel... because of the winnings I teasingly said 'hey wanna be my rs bf?' not meaning it... But after that we joked about it and kept talking, until we fell in love through Runescape and got to know each other better."

Lady Pooh, who hails from Ohio in the USA, is now set to become Mrs.Topcat0711. She even flew over to his native Australia, swapping server-lag for jet-lag to be with her new love.

"I've been here in Australia for 6 weeks now and we get along great! We are making long term plans and its all thanks to you! We just wanted you to know that you created more than just a game...it's a connection to life and happiness." So it's official then: Cupid does exist. As an NPC in Runescape.

Yah, I've heard of that happening to people on Everquest and Ultima Online. I've seen follow-ups on some of them and they actually seem to be doing pretty well. Its pretty cool that two people can hook up after a gnome shadowknight saves a highelf cleric from a rude orc that was "hitting" on her.

lol i don't imagine that happening too soon, in my school theres only a handful of people who mildly like anime. And only two of them who i knwo of who are really into it ... and i'm one of them. So yea ... it sucks living in brampton, exspecialy when your in the far northern corner.

Well I'm not talking the whole school or anything... but out of my friends and those who we hang out with the anime group has risen from the dead...

Basically for the 40 people that comprise of my social life they can be divided into various groups based on interests...

Anime
D&D <---main contigent of those who mock lol
Music brats
Art brats
Writing/Booky Squad
Tap peoples

Myself I fall into the all of these groups somehow except art cause I can't draw worth crap...I know...I was snuckered into an art class called "Communications" where I had to draw...gah...thank god my one friend was in it...we had a very simple understanding...he drew, I wrote...

Hmm...though yes, this year I managed to convert 3 people if I remember correctly...

I get the same reactions about anime from even my closest friends. It's nice to have someone that understands and shares your interests. Perk up, you'll find someone. :D Just don't give up, like me, and you'll find that someone who agrees. *thumbs up*
