Bought me a GBA Finally!

I think that's due to the GBA not being all that advanced (SNES level, pretty much, RISC processor not withstanding).

Come on guys, it's not that bad. Just think about it now. The next one should be at par with a portable N64! Now that I would like to see. ^_^

A portable N64 level system would be kind of pointless, unless it had a large screen.

I just feel it.

Well, when you hold a small screen arms legth (or whatever) from your face, it's pretty close to the size of the tv, when you're the length of a controller cord away...

FUCK NO.

That would

1.) Make it too expensive.

2.) Make it less portable.

3.) Make the games larger as well. (Depending, but you'd expect them to make them either minidiscs, or CDs.)

4.) Generally make them less popular. (Trust me, people like the Gameboy small.)

And I think those are pretty valid reasons for it to NOT BE A LAPTOP. The only one I would question is number four, but that's just how I'd see it happening.

And they're already working on a 3D graphics engine for the GBA. They are making a Jet Grind Radio game on it, and it's been reported that they are also trying to make it 3D. (Not to mention rumors of a FF7 remake on it.)

And besides, I loved the SNES. I thought it was, (And still is,) the best system to date. I don't see why a portable SNES is all that bad!

Well, there is a portable Power station and a portable Monitor out for the GameCube. I read it at ign.com, IIRC it's about 140 bucks. Anyway, tis really cool, you can play about 4 hours full force until the power goes down. And everything is neato attached to the GC, you hook the power station under the box, and the monitor fits nicely on top of it!

Ya, it's like the PSX screen viewer that fits right on top. I also saw in a a store on the weekend, a special controller with a screen attachement that goes right on the controller. It looked cool, but really weird...

I don't like the GC screen, my mate's got one, it's just awkward and ugly, and not a cube.

At least the PSOne screen and powerpack made it half way portable. And it makes it look more cool.

I don't know why Sony or Microsoft won't at least try and make a handheld, I wouldn't expect it to do better than the Gameboy series, but at least it'd give a bit more flavour to the handheld market.

The Gamegear rocked, it was ahead of its time, (not in power conservation,
