She honestly thinks that she's better off with no emotions for anyone or anything. She believes that not feeling anything is better than feeling and risking feeling pain. She thinks that no matter what happiness will always lead to dissapointment and pain, and so it's no use even trying to be happy.
I htink you should call loveline or something and get some advice from a medical semi-profesional, there is more goign on here than meets the eye I promise you.cat: she told me all this cuz she still cares about me enuff and knows that if shed have kept faking it it would just hurt much more later on.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

oh, I know theres more going on. I know how she is, I know how shes been. But before she was at least able to love and be happy, if with nobody or anything else, with me. Now shes given that up and just become an emotionless doll. I dont know what I'll do... but I dont want to forget about her.. if not for my feelings, then at least because I dont want to see her completely die on the inside.
I dunno.
I dunno.

It's sounds like she is bi-polar to me. If so...I do know what you are going through Ed.
I do know what it's like to have been in a relationship with someone who was fine when you knew them as a friend (or perhaps the odd signs were there, you just thought they were unique and wanted to help them out) and then you get close and they are too much to handle...when they get depressed they want to push you away but then after awhile deciding they perhaps could try again? It's been 3 years ago for me Ed and I know he still is the same as back then. There isn't anything you can do until she gets either help, or a lot of years on her. As in like 20 or more, but even then mellow still never turns to normal.
Honestly, I can say that you probably won't stop worrying for awhile , but put a good 6 months on you and you'll feel a lot better. I promise

I agree with misty completely.
