and I dunno if I'm going to pursue another relationship if one comes along. I'm just sayin that yesterday was basically a waste of time that didnt happen. So I'm back to where I was before then.
The whole scenario looks suspiciously like it did 2 years ago

See, I don't see why you stick to a relationship with so much drama. Your GF is jerking your chain around, while you go nuts. If you want the relationship to last your best bet is to chill out. She says she's dead inside you say "that's too bad. so you still going to see my Friday?" She says she's goign to kill herself, you tape record her and call the paramedics. She says she cheated on you, dump her until she tells you whats really going on. Whatever you do, DO NOT GET SUCKED UP INTO HER DRAMA.

Ed, I can tell you for sure that something like this is going to happen again...and if you let it, again and again. You'll probably eventually get used to it and hopefully put an end to it yourself. At least you aren't going to feel so down in the dumps for the time being....but.....I would suggest developing friendly terms with other girls nearby to yourself, like she does so you won't feel helpless and so anxious being hundreds of miles away, next time. Not cheating....but getting other friends (ones you can see everyday) could develop into something...just as good if not better
