Ride a motorcycle to school, especially in winter. There's nothing like riding to school before dawn in 30-35ºF weather (throwing in wind-chill, you're talking about 20-25ºF). I did that for my junior/senior years.
Of course, I was getting up around 5am. Getting up that early isn't that hard for me. It's difficult when I get more than 4 hours of sleep, but it can be done. Just force yourself to get moving early.
Here's another motivator for getting up that early:
TV Land runs the original black-and-white "Superman" tv series at 4am, and the original "Batman" tv series at 4:30.

it's only cold once you get below -10ºC.Toecutter wrote:Ride a motorcycle to school, especially in winter. There's nothing like riding to school before dawn in 30-35ºF weather (throwing in wind-chill, you're talking about 20-25ºF). I did that for my junior/senior years.

I like my sleep...hence why i usually don't post that much after 10:30...I go to my room and read with a not too bright lamp for about 1hour which usually puts in the mood to sleep...try like reading or playing gameboy if you're you know not into reading...but with a low light (not too bright) and it'll probably help you fall asleep.

i've gone for weeks at a time getting 2 hours of sleep a night. i didn't get sick, so i think that statement is wrong.Moonlight Soldier wrote:Ya...you'll get sick and run down if you don't get at least 6 hours...though you should get 8 for sure...you just need to get back into the routine...it's always hard the first week or two back...

Indeed, staying awake very long periods can increase your chances of catching an illness, and if you stay awake long enough deathmadmag9999 wrote:no it was not u will get sick if u dont sleep. once this summer actualy i was up for like 3 days stragh and then i got a high fever. then slept for like 12 hours and was fine so i think it was becouse i was so tierd.
