ha ... technicaly my pc lost it's last leg a while ago ... but it still works fine ... just is severly out performed by nearly every system out there.

My folks didnt pay 3.5k it was 2000 somethen at Best Buy's and it wasnt a waste considering that the desktop i have couldnt handle Warcraft 3 without lagging out. It even had trouble with Quake 3.

still, over 2000 is alot to pay for your main system. If you want a gaming system, you could have one put together more alot less.

well the best part was i got a really good deal ... the guy enede up knowcking 200$ off the price, he was trying to prove that Futureshop ahd the lowest proice and he went on a compaq website and it was listed 200$ cheaper so he knocked teh price down and said that we saw that price at somother store. Then he gave me a free 80$ targus notebook case, gave my mother some cd with 100 palm pilot games, and my sister got a Jersey Cd for free ... so this guy gave me a really good deal ... but it still hurts so much ... i still ahve to payu off 2/3's of it and all of my college tuition some how ... plus i have to go buy good clothes because i went to a high school with a uniform and was a hermit ... so my wardrobe is severly lacking... man this sucks
