I'm looking to make an AMV that's "trippy".

You know, like an AMV that somebody can watch if their stoned and or drunk. Preferably the latter. I don't take drugs and I don't drink, but I'm looking to make a video that somebody can enjoy when they're doing either of those two things. This is the song I have in mind:

Then there's a simple horn section part, but then it gets all spacey, and there's this weird guitar distortion going in one speaker, the other speaker, back to the previous speaker, both speakers, all over the fucking place, and a salvation army band playing some random tune for about thirty seconds to a minute, and then it gets cut off. It doesn't fade or segue or anything, it just stops, and then you hear an acoustic guitar fading in, and the singer says:

And the sea isn't green
And I love the queen
And what exactly is a dream?
And what exactly is a joke?

The first character that came to my mind when I was thinking about an anime for the video was Nabeshin, from Excel Saga, because one of the lines in the song is "and brought me here instead dressed in red", but Nabeshin doesn't match the lyrical content. And just incase nobody understood my description of what happens between the "I'll do my loving in the winter" line, and the "And the sea isn't green" line, I'll upload the song here so you can listen:

I probably have a bigger resume of "trippy" vids than anyone on this site. They are NOT fun to watch while stoned or high. I'd rather be hangin around friends if I'm stoned.

If you want to make a trippy video though, you need to focus on psychedelic transitions, because the transitions are mostly where it's at. PM me if you want any suggestions for examples of "trippy" vids.
