How do you guys find time for everything?

Post by SephirothJenova » Thu Jan 16, 2003 12:28 am

My life is completely busy these days with school, homework, and my new job. I need time to find a life :? and edit my new AMVs. It's just that I don't have any time for those things. I can pretty much edit for only 1 - 2 hours a day, but that's at 1AM. How do you guys balance a schedule and everything?

I have no life.

I usually spend 3-4 hours editing after school, work, lunch, and dinner.

Hmm, well I suppose some would say they simply "don't have one"(the schedule I mean :wink :). But what you could try doing is instead of bothering to make a schedule, or trying to give your attention to many things at once, why not do a step-by-step approach to things? Some things, such as school, are something you can't really set aside for later, but music videos are something else. You can either try and spend a couple hours a day working on a vid, or crunch it down to work on for most of your weekend, or whenever you'd have a decent amount of free time.

We all lead busy lives, and making music vids should be a fun hobby, not a relentless chore. imo you should prioritize. Spend most of your time on the most important things. And when you feel like you're getting overloaded with work, take a breather or two. Also, if you divided up all your time among school, work, and amv's, you'd have little time for anything else! Put some variety in your daily life by not having a schedule consisting of just three or four tasks. Hope that helps 8)

I have no life.

oh come now, simply saying you don't have one isn't going to help SephirothJenova out of their predicament.

that makes no sense. time is "found" by not lazying around, and not spending hours upon hours posting on forums...oops.

Well, I don't have much physical work to do at my primary job, so I get to stay be hind my PC all day. Any real work (besides mods and check-ups) is done by my peons. In the evening I work for a few hours at the local Wal-Mart, just to pay the bills. Times are hard on us entrepreneurs. But when I get home I edit for a few more hours and pass out around 2 or 3am usually. Then it's up again at 8am and off top the salt mines. So time is not my biggest concern.
