Have you ever used an anime or song you don't like, but did anyway because you knew the AMV would be great?

I didn't think the AMV would be great, but it would be...different. I'm refering to my Heterosexuality video. I used the Hentai anime Masquerade. It just happened to be random Hentai video I could find on DVD. I didn't care for the show, but then all that was required for the video was Hentai footage. Why make the video then? Because the song just was screaming to be made into a video, and as a sort of thank you to Mindwarp for his adult category, and having to sit through all my Yaoi entries.

I didn't really care for Grey: Digital Target, but it really fit the song "Veteran of the Psychic Wars".

Nor am I fan of Rage Against the Machine, but I've got an AMV in the works that uses one of their songs.

Never used an anime I don't like, I run off of what I own, which is generally only stuff I like. Songs however I have defied twice in order to make an AMV. My Bebop one and my first video both used songs that I absolutely loathe and still can't stand but I did it for the sake of the AMV.

Well I am going to be using an anime I hate, and a song I am indifferent with.

I wouldn't even touch the anime, but, Iris, if it werent made for the movie city of angels, I would SWEAR the song was made for angel sanctuary, I mean, it isn't every day a pair of song and anime like thta drops into your lap.

I just wanted to see if other people had experiences similar to this one.

I made an AMV for my daddy. It was Princess Mononoke to Welcome to the Jungle. It felt like such an awful match. The song cheapens the anime in my opinion, but still.

Also, my friend Mike has requested that I make a video with the song Let the Bodies Hit the Floor to all of the fight scenes in Cowboy Bebop. It's not my ideal video for that movie, but it's for a friend.
