Great song but have an anime brain fart. . .

I am a total n00b at making amvs.

But I have the idea to make an amv using the song "I'll Pay You to Shoot Him" by Megan Mccauley. I have been addicted to this song for almost a week and its just eating me up that there is no amv using this song (at least not one that I have found).

I need an anime that can be basically any genre but it has to have father hatred/resentment . . . I am having a complete brain fart right now. Any Ideas?

lol, father hatred is neo genesis evangelion all over it. but that really is way overused.

i'm assuming the song is about a boy who wants to kill his dad (havnt heard it) so if you just need scenes that are around that theme i suggest full metal panic and the relationship between sousuke and Gauln. Sousuke absolutely hates Gauln and everything that he stands for while Gauln is sorta attracted to Souske since he represents the "perfect soldier" type of person. anyway, there are plenty of scenes between the two that i'm sure would work.

Evangelion is definitely a good idea for a bad father relationship. Is there anymore that anyone might know of?

you could probably twist bleach into it or maybe inuyasha or full metal alchemist but those are all overly popular animes too

Not sure if there's enough footage for that theme, but there's always Berserk (Guts and his dad) or Samurai Champloo (Fuu and her dad). Or if you wanted to do a twisting of the anime or something comedic, there's always Ranma 1/2.

footage of that is a bit limited...but if you want something that isn't on the most used list I'd give it a shot

another option is Code Geass (both seasons)

You could go the comedy route and do Maka and her dad from Soul Eater.
