free websites to set up

alright, well, i was looking for a website to store my music videos on. I know such places like tripod, geocities, and angelfire, etc. are out there and you can set up a website for free. Tripod gives you 20 mb free, and i'm not sure about the others, but i was wondering if there was another free option out there that offers more? 20 mb isn't much for a music video, unless i seriously compress it with something lossy.

i probably will have to end up paying for more space and such, but i just wanted to know if there are more choices out there that are for free. everyone likes free right? also if you could recommend another free site over another, then that'd be just peachy. thanks.

Go pledge some money to the dounts. The sooner you donate, the faster the thing gets running, the faster you get your free hosting.

ok, this sounds pretty good. so how much will amv give us when they reach all their pledges? i plan on donating as well as getting a site for myself. but i'd like to know which web hosts you would recommend.

i don't understand how a place can offer unlimited bandwidth such as that animeconnection site. are both hosthype and animeconnection valid web hosters?

hmm, it doesn't look like i can store my vid's on hosthype since they don't allow the distribution of copyrighted stuff. i'm pretty sure i'm reading this right....somebody correct me if i'm wrong

if there was a direct connect channel then you could distro your vid to all of us, for free, on your own comp, but noone wants to set up a DC channel, sicne the last one tanked.
