so my harddrive died.
and i lost all my amvs.

including all my good quality versions i use to submit to conventions.

Sorry to hear about this, Panda. Sadly, the only vids of yours I have are the session vids.

I would have liked to see those Experimentality vids! Your vids usually kick ass, so it's just a shame if they go missing!

Reminds me of Kevin Caldwell... Good AMV creator, but the only versions of his videos that exist anymore are the VCD versions

Backup on mutiple harddrives = a good thing....

I myself have my video masters backed up on my raid 5 server, one additional drive, 1 full size DV tape and a mini-DV tape in a safety deposit box...Oh, and a SVHS tape just in case. There is no way in hell I'll loose anything unless North America slides into the ocean... At that point it won't matter.....

BTW, if anyone want's, I'll be more than happy to store any of thier videos on my main video server as a MPeg2 master as off site backup. I just hate seeing another artistic creation gone... Hec, If I run out of space I'll buy more drives if I have too. Think of it as an archive...

I lost all copies of one of my videos. It was gone gone gone... Sigh. Sorry I don't have any of the mentioned videos. Where they ever distributed on CDs at a convention maybe?

I'm not sure the new order to your experiment amvs, but I've got Alone (AMG one about urd IIRC) and the old experiments 1 and 2 (Pokemon to Utada Hikaru and that eva.. penpen.. yeah) I can send them to you sometime tomorrow.
