AMV Inspiration @_@

Post by Megamom » Fri Aug 29, 2008 11:22 am

My greatest inspiration is Koopiskeva, when I look at some of its amvs, inspires me many new ideas.

ZetZu is a great editor, his style, his way of sync, is one of the biggest influences in my new AMV (JaddziaDax / / PROJECT)

Other editors who inspire me:
Chiikaboom
Zoamarta
blabbler
Sierra Lorna
CrackTheSky
Emong
Rina
Etc ...

All have been influences to me!

And you?

lleia
Nostromo
Chii...

Listing all the editors who've had a subtle influence on would take forever, but those would be the main ones I guess.

Janzki

VegettoEX

Chiikaboom

These three are my top fav. VegettoEX for good storytelling. Janzki for Kare Kano vids and the recent Otakon 2008 entry. Chiikaboom for my shoujo animes.

For me, it's different editors for every genre. And there are a few that stick out in my mind more than others.

Drama:
JudgeHolden
Pwolf

Romance:
AtomX
Nessephanie
(omfg, how did those two end up together?!!11)

Comedy:
Dokidoki
Fall_Child42

Action:
Niotex (This bastard and Decoy told me that I couldn't DO action)
Kristyrat

Dance:
JCD
Kisanzi (pretty good action vids, too, but I like the more dancey ones)

But for the most part, I try to do something original, rather than follow what someone else has done. Still, you can't deny that there is always SOME influence from others.
