"Simple Man" by Graham Nash

Such a sad song. It always makes me cry whenever I hear it. I think of this song to the 70's what Alphaville's Forever Young was to the 80's. The song's rather short though. It was played during the opening credits to the movie "Reign Over Me", and they didn't have shorten or extend the song for the opening credits. That's how short it is. What could this work with in an AMV?

Just with reading the lyrics it came to my mind Cowboy Bebop, specially talking about of Spike.

A HS guy asks out a cute little girl in his class who actually has had her body modified to be a military weapon. Long story short, lots o' drama, the world goes to hell in a hand basket, most of it having to do with his girlfriend who's away at war most of the time. Then the weapon starts to take over her, her enemies start getting pissed that she keeps blowing up everything, and . . .I won't give away the ending.

But meanwhile, the guy is dealing with dating and being in love with that "thing" she has become. Very depressing series.

Please don´t watch Saikano. Some reactions of the characters are so riddicolous and I can´t really see a reason why they say/do things.

The first ep was really nice, but I couldn´t stand the second one. I´ll prefer outer series for sure before I take another ep of it .-.

I liked it. Even if it was one of the more depressing things I've watched. Yeah, the characters aren't always particularly bright when it comes to life and love, but teenagers aren't always particularly bright when it comes to life and love. I just thought it was interesting how it showed that your decisions can affect not only your life, but those around you as well. (granted this was an extreme case.) Eh, plah. Its KidEgo's call. I was just suggesting it because it fit.
