Anime suggestion please?

Someone told me there was an anime for absolutely everything..
So, thinking that finding an anime that fits a song I want to use rather than finding a song for an anime I want to use, I decided to post here, hoping that someone will be able to help me find the appropriate anime!
So...can someone help me find an anime about hell? An anime that describes hell throughly, with the character/characters passing through every part of it and seeing what is happening and all this pretty stuff! Help is appreciated ^_^

Not sure if there's that kind of anime...

BUT

Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) has lots of scenes where everything around is becoming like hell. And she's on the boat at the end of each episode,taking a different person with herself every time to the hell...

If you can't find a hell-themed series, then you might consider scenes which certainly look hellish, like from Akira, Ghost Hunt, Helsing, anime with war or battle scenes, Trigun, Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales, uh ...

I haven't seen the anime for Bastard! but I know the manga was pretty graphic.

I'm of the opinion that most AMV's have a certain theme to them. Since yours is about Hell, I'm guessing it's going to be dark...but how is your music selection(s) going to correspond to this?

I see from your profile name that you love Hellsing Ultimate (I do too), so perhaps that is a good place to start in so far as a particular type of Hell. It usually means different things to different people, but if you read "The Devine Comedy" which describes the 10 levels of Hell based on different sins, then a good theme to work with is dispair. This is where you may want to look into animes like "Grave of the Fireflies" or "Perfect Blue".

Still, if you're looking for the traditional fire-and-brimstone lakes of lava and glowing red devils with pitchforks, then I wouldn't know where to start.

yeah.... aside from Devil May Cry, I don't think the other 2 actually have scenes of hell.
