How many Anime videos have YOU produced?
My Name is Princeben07, founder of the DAICHONS in Roleplay.
(www.ayenee.com, just look for THAT name, Princeben07)
I've been doing anime videos while the most of you were still trying to catch the japanese version of Voltron.
I've been into Anime since I was 5 years old and only like the select few titles.
Anime Videos, however, are my specialty to see just who is out there making the good stuff and who needs the work.
1) I don't use fancy software.
2) I use two VCR's and a CD Player
3) I have the most UNREAL timing of songs to Anime footage
4) Up to Date, I've produced, recorded and directed, for personal use, over 520 videos in the last 20 years I've been doing this.
(YOU try doing this with no fancy equipment and see how far YOU can get...^_^)
I've done videos from the following songs this week:
"It's Not Over"---Daughtry
"To Live Is to Die"---Lacuna Coil
"Final Thoughts"---Val Khil Of The Molemen (www.molemen.com)
"Come My Way"---Avex Mode (Inuyash Theme Song)
"Inner Universe"--Origa/feat. Yoko Kanno (Ghost In The Shell Soundtrack)
"Dangerous And Moving"--Tatu
"Destroy Everything You Touch"---Ladytron
"Hole In The Earth"---The Deftones
Now mind you, each individual Video takes hours of editing and searching. You only have 5 minutes before your VCR goes to powersave and it stops from record/pause mode.
You have to adjust your volume accordingly, without fancy faders or mixers. A volume knob on your amplifier is all you have.
Though I haven't trangressed to a DVD Recorder, where I KNOW the work could go much smoother, faster and with more quality, I still like making them the old-fashioned way.

So in other words what you're saying is that you use a method that's guaranteed to lose quality because VHS sucks like that, you have nothing better to do in your pathetic ass life than this shit, you knock them out so quickly that you possibly couldn't take time to think about what your doing much less doing it right, and that you're so fucking ignorant that you think using a DVD would be easier but it never occurred to you to use a damned computer? Yeah, I'm impressed. Really.
As a total side note, 520 AMVs? That beats the old <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... >record</a> that I know of. Although I suspect the enjoyment level of yours and his AMVs are probably about equal.
